The World Circular Economy Forum took place earlier this month in Helsinki. WBCSD took the event by storm, releasing our brand-new CEO Guide to the Circular Economy and announcing Factor10, our new circular economy program. Stay tuned for the release of the Practitioner Guide to the Circular Economy, coming out next week.

The FSB will deliver its final recommendations of the Task force for Climate-related Financial Disclosure Recommendations later this month, following a period public consultation earlier this year. The SDGs will not be achieved unless climate change is addressed. We urge G20 leaders to give the recommendations their full endorsement, to provide an important step in reaching the Paris Agreement and keeping global warming well below a 2°C average temperature increase.

Earlier this month, 60 participants from the Indian renewables value chain came together for the first workshop of the Corporate Renewable PPA Forum. Participants, who included 22 WBCSD member companies, are working to raise awareness, build shared knowledge and engage in dialogue with policy makers to support more renewable energy procurement by the private sector.
